Big Dog Little Dog Grooming started in 2009 on Ellesmere Road with one simple idea: every dog deserves to be groomed the way we'd want our own dog groomed — cage-free, patient, and one at a time. That hasn't changed.
Owner-groomer Sam opened the shop after a decade behind the table at busier Toronto salons, frustrated by the conveyor-belt pace and stacked appointments that left dogs in crates for hours. Our promise is the opposite: when your pup is on our table, they're the only pup we're working on.
What we stand for
Cage-Free, Always
No crates, no kennels. Your pup hangs out with us in our open salon between bath, dry and finish.
One Dog at a Time
We never overlap appointments. The pup on the table is the only pup we're thinking about.
Gentle, Patient Hands
Anxious rescues, nervous puppies, opinionated seniors — we take the time each dog needs.
Done When It's Right
Most grooms are 90–150 minutes. We don't rush a coat, a face, or a paw to clear the table.
